Cornelius Pass Road – Frances to Wilkins Projects
The original Cornelius Pass, Frances to Wilkins Road Bridge was approx. 72’ long, three span structure with limitations for mobility of traffic, pedestrians, and bicyclist due to its current width of 24’. Washington County required a much wider structure to accommodate the mobility needs of this area and designed a new structure 83’ wide with a single span of 185’ long.
LCI set twelve of the largest, and heaviest girders made in the State of Oregon. Each girder was 183.5’ long and 184,000 lbs.
